Project Description
RDM International, Inc., as the Design consultant, performed civil engineering design services for a Design-Build of the Terminal A and B aircraft parking areas. The airport is anticipating larger aircraft using these gates, are required changes to the ramp areas that consist of asphalt and concrete pavement areas. RDM analyzed the aircraft fleet mix, pavement loading, turning radii and operational consideration to determine which paved areas required replacement or rehabilitation.
RDM prepared the Construction Safety Phasing Plans and FAA 7460 for this project. RDM designed all geometry, pavement repairs and performed all requested cost analyses.
