Project Description
RDM, as the Prime consultant, performed a network level Pavement Management System (PMS) update of airfield pavements at the Tulsa International Airport. This was an update to a Pavement Management surveys performed by RDM in 2015. Approximately 13.87 million SF of airside pavement were surveyed.
RDM developed, prioritized, updated, and recommended maintenance projects and full areas of reconstruction, where needed. A multi-year maintenance and rehabilitation program was created for the airport to use for planning, budgeting and FAA Grant coordination. Unit costs were updated to create project estimates that included design and construction administration fees. A five-year Maintenance and Rehab plan identified over $31 million of potential repair projects that were prioritized by RDM. An update to the PAVER database, version 7.0.9 was part of the program with an additional component to provide an airside pavement GIS data implementation. The report and pavement data can be presented in a GIS format to quickly retrieve pavement condition information for either desktop or smart device review.
